Ballot includes candidates for U.S. House of Representatives, three Amendments to the Virginia Constitution and a special election for Richmond Public Schools Board Trustee in Richmond’s Central 5th District
(Richmond, VA) -- Richmond City Council encourages all Richmond citizens to educate themselves on the candidates and important issues that will be included on the ballot this upcoming Election Day (Tuesday, November 2, 2010) and Vote. Ballots for this general and special election will include the office of the U.S. House of Representatives, three Amendments to the Virginia Constitution and a special election for Richmond Public Schools Board Trustee (listed as School Board Member on the Ballot) in Richmond’s Central 5th District.
Richmond voting locations will be open from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. The deadline to register to vote or to update voter registration for this election was Tuesday, October 12, 2010. The last day to apply to vote absentee in person is Saturday, October 30, 2010. Some voters, however, may be able to absentee vote on Monday due to an emergency.
