Councilwoman Larson to hold meeting regarding
proposed Larus Park water facilities
All Richmond Southwest 4th Voter District residents invited to attend
WHAT (Richmond, Virginia U.S.A.) –
The Honorable Kristen Nye Larson, Richmond City Council, Richmond Southwest 4th
Voter District, will hold a meeting regarding the latest proposal to build a
water tank and pumping station on a portion of the Richmond Department of
Parks, Recreation and Community Facilities: Lewis G. Larus Park. This latest
proposal, which entails the construction of the water facilities at Larus Park,
as well as expanding the park by 18.2 acres, was introduced in the Richmond
City Council Formal Meeting on Monday, November 13, 2017. Representatives from the
Richmond Department of Public Utilities (DPU) will present the proposal in full
and answer any questions. This meeting is free and open to the public and all
Richmond Southwest 4th Voter District residents are invited and encouraged to
attend.
