- Richmond City Council reminds Richmond residents of tomorrow's Virginia Department of
Health - Richmond Health District Office event providing free Back to School vaccinations/physicals.
This is an annual event produced by the Virginia Department of Health - Richmond Health District
Office.
Information regarding the event, provided by the Virginia Department of
Health - Richmond Health District Office, includes the following:

The Virginia
Department of Health - Richmond Health District Office event is for
Richmond residents only.
·
All vaccinations for daycare and school-entry will be available
along with the required TDaP booster shot for rising 6th graders.
·
Parents are reminded that 6th graders will not be allowed to attend class
without documentation/proof showing that they have received a TDaP vaccination.
·
Free physicals for school-entry and Head-Start will be provided
in partnership with the Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) School of
Nursing.
·
No sports physicals are being provided this year.
·
This event is first-come, first-served and no appointment is
needed.
·
Please eat and drink before arrival.
·
Parents and guardians must be present with their children.
