System to hold meeting to review survey results of GRTC Transit System Temporary
Transfer Plaza On-Board Customer Service Survey

WHAT (Richmond, Virginia U.S.A.) – The
Honorable Ellen F. Robertson, Councilwoman, Richmond City Council, Richmond Gateway
6th Voter District, and the GRTC Transit System will hold a meeting to review
results of a GRTC Transit System Temporary Transfer Plaza On-Board Customer
Service Survey, which was performed Sunday, August 17-Saturday, August 23,
2014. The survey was performed to assist with Plaza
planning. This meeting is free and open to the public and all residents are
invited and encouraged to attend.
Background
On April 20, 2014, GRTC Transit System began first phase installation of a
GRTC Transit System Temporary Transfer Plaza
facility, which includes 13 curbside bus bays located along 9th and Leigh
Streets. Used as a centralized location for connecting bus routes, the site
serves approximately 5,000 to 8,000 riders daily.
