Councilman Parker C. Agelasto to host 2013 Richmond Central 5th Voter District Senior Information and Resource Fair



The event is free and open to the public and all Richmond Central 5th Voter District residents are invited and encouraged to attend



WHAT (Richmond, Virginia U.S.A.) -- The Honorable Parker C. Agelasto, Councilman, Richmond City Council, Central 5th Voter District will host a 2013 Senior Information and Resource Fair. The event is free and open to the public and all Richmond Central 5th Voter District Seniors (55 and older), people with disabilities and caregivers are invited and encouraged to attend. Parking is free in the Church parking lot and a free lunch will be provided.



The event is designed to assist Richmond's Older Residents, those with disabilities and caregivers and will include information on local medical, housing, financial, transportation and care giving resources. Presenters and exhibitors will also include those providing information for individuals preparing to retire, retirees, caregivers to senior adults, family members of senior adults and professionals in the field of aging.



The Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles Mobile Customer Service Center will be on hand for attendees to apply for/renew their Virginia Identification Cards; apply for/renew their Virginia Driver's License; apply for a U.S. Military Veteran Identification Card; and, much, much more.



The 2013 Richmond Central 5th Voter District Senior Information and Resource Fair will include the following:

• Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles Mobile Customer Service Center

• Home repair info

• Health services

• Housing services

• Nutrition programs

• Dominion Virginia Power

• Richmond Police Department

• Richmond Department of Fire and Emergency Services
