A statement on behalf of Richmond City Council regarding the
Richmond City Attorney
Richmond, Virginia – “Richmond City Council announces that Haskell C. Brown, III, City Attorney, has decided to retire from the Richmond Office of the City Attorney, after 24 years of service. He has tendered his resignation, effective immediately.
Richmond City Council will meet in the coming days to outline a process as it moves forward with appointing a new City Attorney on behalf of the City of Richmond.
Richmond City Council thanks Haskell C. Brown, III, for his dedicated service to the city and wishes him well in his future endeavors.”
