Regarding vandalism of the Richmond Police Memorial Statue

         

(Richmond, Virginia U.S.A.) - “I think it is a horrible insult, tragedy and shame that the Richmond Police Memorial Statue was vandalized. These Richmond Police officers dedicated their lives to protecting our families and the desecration of their memory at a cemetery, park or anywhere is just plain wrong. Whoever did this are either cowards or misguided individuals that need to be exposed and held accountable for this shameful act. Their sentence should be to either pay for or assist with the restoration of the Richmond Police Memorial Statue and to do community service that includes working with the police and the community.”

Residents of the Richmond Redevelopment and Housing Authority Elderly Housing Program Building located at 1611 4th Avenue are invited and encouraged to attend.

         

WHAT         (Richmond, Virginia U.S.A.) - The Honorable Ellen F. Robertson, Councilwoman, Richmond City Council, Richmond Gateway 6th Voter District, will hold a Senior Citizens’ Fourth of July Cookout. This event is free, and Councilwoman Robertson invites and encourages all Seniors (55 and older) residing at the Richmond Redevelopment and Housing Authority Elderly Housing Program Building, located at 1611 4th Avenue, to attend.
