New Thresholds/Deadline
Reminder: 2020 Richmond Real Estate Tax Abatements for Seniors and People with
Disabilities Program
Application
Deadline: March 31, 2020
WHAT Richmond, Virginia - Richmond City Council encourages all qualified Richmond
resident homeowners to apply for the Richmond Real Estate Tax Abatements for Seniors and
People with Disabilities Program.
The
deadline for applying
for the 2020 Richmond Real Estate Tax Abatements for Seniors and People with
Disabilities Program is Tuesday, March 31, 2020.
New this year, the annual maximum household income
threshold has increased to $60,000 and the allowable net worth to $350,000.
An
application and the following documents are required to qualify (please
provide/bring):

Current Standing
with Richmond Real Estate Taxes
·
Proof of age or disability
·
Proof of all income
·
Proof of all assets
