WHAT          (Richmond, Virginia U.S.A.) -- The Honorable Reva M. Trammell, Councilwoman, Richmond City Council, Richmond Southside 8th Voter District, will hold a meeting in the Richmond Southside 8th Voter District. (Richmond, Virginia U.S.A.) – "Yesterday I informed my colleagues on Richmond City Council that I am withdrawing my name for consideration as Richmond City Council President. I have also spoken with Councilwoman Mosby on her expected nomination and installation as Council President in January and congratulated her. 

It has been a privilege and honor to serve as the chair of the governing body of the City of Richmond these past two years. I appreciate all the support from my colleagues on Council and in the greater Richmond community. As we move forward, I am confident we will continue to provide the necessary checks and balances our form of government requires."
