Cm. Newbille to hold Evergreen Cemetery and
East End Cemetery Community Conversation and Engagement Meeting
For hearing, sharing, discussing, and receiving information regarding status of Evergreen Cemetery and East End Cemetery
WHAT Richmond, Virginia – Councilmember Cynthia I. Newbille, Richmond City Council, Richmond East End 7th Voter District will hold an Evergreen Cemetery and East End Cemetery Community Conversation and Engagement Meeting for hearing, sharing, discussing, and receiving information regarding the status of Evergreen Cemetery and East End Cemetery. Cm. Newbille invites and encourages all Richmond East End 7th Voter District residents and those interested in the status of these cemeteries to attend.
Evergreen Cemetery, located at 3600 East Richmond Road, and East End Cemetery, located at 1751 Evergreen Road, are privately owned historically Black cemeteries that volunteers have assisted upkeep for over the years and believed current owner may no longer be able to maintain.
