Richmond City Council Commission on Architectural Review Taskforce to hold public hearing

Citizens interested in speaking are to register with the City Clerk’s Office prior to Noon on Thursday, October 1, 2009
        
WHAT            The Richmond City Council Commission on Architectural Review (CAR) Taskforce will hold a public hearing to receive public input concerning the process used by the Richmond City Council Commission on Architectural Review. The Taskforce was established by Richmond City Council Resolution 2009-R85-97 (attached) on July 13, 2009.

        The purpose of the Taskforce is to review the process and guidelines of the Richmond Commission of Architectural Review, which is tasked with providing oversight and review regarding the erection, reconstruction, alteration or restoration of buildings or structures within designated Richmond Historic Districts as to their architectural compatibility with existing historic landmarks, buildings or structures in that district.

        Citizens wishing to speak at the public hearing are required to register prior to Noon on Thursday, October 1, 2009 by contacting the City Clerk’s Office, at 804.646.7955.
