Councilwoman Ellen F. Robertson, Gateway 6th District, encourages local leaders and interested citizens to attend forum entitled: Turning Around Vacant Property in Greater Richmond. The forum will include a discussion with regional leaders and national experts regarding vacant property issues in Richmond. It also will explore new policy alternatives that address concentrations of vacant properties in communities.

WHAT Councilwoman Ellen F. Robertson, Gateway 6th District, encourages local leaders and interested citizens to attend forum entitled: Turning Around Vacant Property in Greater Richmond. The forum will include a discussion with regional leaders and national experts regarding vacant property issues in Richmond. It also will explore new policy alternatives that address concentrations of vacant properties in communities.

The program will include: Jim Kelly, vacant housing policy expert, Rachel Flynn, Director, Richmond Department of Planning and Development Review, and Racquel Reddie, Community Development Manager for the National Community Stabilization Trust.

The event is being hosted by the U. S. Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond, Virginia Local Initiative Support Corporation (LISC) and Partnership for Housing Affordability.
