Richmond City Council encourages Richmond families to support local "mom and pop shop" small businesses this Saturday



Small Business Saturday is November 24, 2012



WHAT (Richmond, Virginia U.S.A.) -- Richmond City Council encourages all Richmond families to support local "mom and pop shop" small businesses this Saturday, November 24, 2012, as part of the national 'Small Business Saturday' event.



Between the shopping days following Thanksgiving called "Black Friday" and "Cyber Monday", residents are invited to celebrate "Small Business Saturday" and to shop local, homegrown Richmond stores.



A day created in 2010 as part of a national campaign, "Small Business Saturday" is a way to increase patronage of local "mom and pop shop" small businesses, which helps to support our local families and economy.
