Richmond City Council to Hold Formal Meeting Today
                                                                                  
WHAT         (Richmond, Virginia U.S.A.) – The regularly scheduled Richmond City Council Formal Meeting will be held today despite the winter weather, starting at 6:00 p.m. in Richmond City Council Chambers. This meeting is open to the public. Because of the treacherous road conditions, we would like to remind everyone that they can watch from home via live television broadcasts and internet video stream. Also, please check the Richmond City Clerk’s website for updated information and changes to any scheduled Richmond City Council meeting by visiting: http://www.richmondgov.com/CityClerk/index.aspx

                    Richmond City Council Formal Meetings air live on TV on local PBS station WCVW the night of the meeting:

                         The Richmond City Council Formal Meeting is also replayed on TV twice a day on Richmond Government Access TV Cable Channel 17 in Richmond, beginning at Noon and 7:00 p.m. daily, for two weeks. Richmond City Council Formal Meetings are business meetings held to act on (discuss, adopt, reject and/or amend) Council Ordinances and Resolutions.

                         Richmond City Council Informal Meetings are held immediately prior to Formal meetings to review the Council agenda/docket for the upcoming Formal Meeting.
