Free school supplies for Richmond Pre-K through 12th Grade students

Four event distribution locations in Richmond to be held Saturday, August 13, 2011

WHAT (Richmond, Virginia) -- Richmond City Council encourages Richmond families to attend one of four Richmond locations on Saturday, August 13, 2011, from 10:00 a.m. - Noon, to receive free school supplies for their children for the upcoming Richmond Public Schools academic year.

Supplies are for students enrolled in Richmond Public Schools from Pre-K through 12th Grade. Proof of residency is required and recipients are allowed to visit one of the four locations to receive supplies. Supplies are limited and are available while they last.

Volunteers and donations are welcome and invited.

These events are sponsored by the Northside Coalition for Children and are supported by civic associations, individuals and businesses.
