First Richmond Business, Professional and Occupational License Tax Task Force meeting to be held



All Richmond residents invited and encouraged to attend



WHAT (Richmond, Virginia U.S.A.) -- The Richmond Business, Professional and Occupational License Tax Task Force will hold its first meeting.



The purpose of the Task Force is to provide Richmond City Council and the Mayor with expert advice and recommendations concerning the state and local legislation necessary to make Richmond's business, professional and occupational license taxes more competitive with such taxes imposed by other jurisdictions in the Richmond metropolitan area.



This advisory task force was established by Richmond City Council on February 25, 2013 by Richmond City Council Ordinance Number 2013-26-26. The meeting is free and open to the public and all residents are invited and encouraged to attend.
