Councilwoman Ellen F. Robertson invites residents to a meeting to discuss a Proposed New Jail/Justice Center Design and its Impact on the Eastview Neighborhood

All citizens are invited and encouraged to attend

WHAT The Honorable Ellen F. Robertson, Councilwoman, Richmond City Council, Gateway 6th District, The Honorable Dwight C. Jones, Mayor of Richmond, Mr. Byron Marshall, Chief Administrative Officer for the City of Richmond and the Eastview Civic League invite citizens to a meeting to discuss a Proposed New Jail/Justice Center Design and its Impact on the Eastview Neighborhood in the Gateway 6th District. This meeting will include:

• Presentation of the Proposed Physical design of a New Jail/Justice Center facility
- Introduction of Proposed project design and construction companies
- Impact of surrounding community
- Impact of design features on security, safety, efficiency
- Workforce development programs
- Selection of contractors

• Feedback from stakeholders
- Design of proposed facility/impact on community

• Review of the Eastview Neighborhood Revitalization Strategy Plan

This meeting is free and open to the public all citizens, property owners, residents and business owners are invited and encouraged to attend and participate.
